Solidarity means principles, values and the everyday struggle between peoples and
movements. After the storm of Israel on Al-Aqsa Mosque (Third-Holiest Site in Islam) in Jerusalem’s Old City and the constant injuries of worships during the holy month of Ramadan 2021, protests broke out across the occupied territories and inside Israel.

However, Palestine was never the Palestinian people issue alone but had its importance in the Arab struggle against Western imperialism. For years, it is the central issue of Arabs struggle for self-determination and modernity and to break the shackles of dependence on the West, on the economic and political level. Due to this reason, many post-colonial societies view the Palestinian issue as a future hope because they can define and understand it through their struggle experience of liberation from colonialism during their
own history like Iraq, Syria, Yemen, etc…

In addition to the role of Palestine in the Islamic and Christian heritage, which adds another dimension, the Palestinian struggle directly denies all kinds of exclusive or exclusionary claims concerning the land on religious grounds.

Most Arab have become hostile to Israel, not because of the Palestinian conflict or because of the land, but because they created tyrants for us. With time, we discover that some governments are employees of Israel and have caused the destruction of entire generations.

The defending of the Al-Aqsa and its importance was engraved in the conscience of all Arabs and Muslims as they all rose for it and stood in solidarity with it, which is now their narrative and identity. Therefore, the events of Jerusalem and the Palestinian uprising in the face of the Israeli occupation and their consistent attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Ramadan was perceived as a threat to the religion of Islam. The events united all Muslims worldwide to take action on social media and to protests in many cities. However, non-Muslims from different nationalities and religions denounced the brutality and racism of the occupation that killed over 248 Palestinians, including 66 children, 39 women and 17 seniors, according
to Gaza’s Ministry of Health.

Al-Aqsa Mosque was a purpose for the unity of Arabs in the middle east and the unity for the call of human justice. This is categorically evidenced by Lebanon and Jordan citizens breaking through the borders; rockets fired from Lebanon and Syria alongside the daily protests worldwide in squares demanding the freedom of Palestine.

After the Arab spring in many countries, the Middle East people still have a free and proud spirit that rejects grievance and refuses to be humiliated and are ready to stand alongside one another to obstacle the expansion of occupation.
